Growing obsessions... German pottery

In England we lived in a Victorian house and decorated it with Victorian style antiques, plenty of pine and lots of traditional pottery. I thought moving to a modern appartment was going to be really difficult  - I just wasn't tuned in to the style.

In fact, it has been one of the most enjoyable experiences of our move... I've had the chance to rethink my taste and I find that I'm increasingly drawn to mid-century objects and particularly Danish, Finnish and Swedish design. We don't have a huge budget, but we are very fortunate to have a wonderful flea market nearby every month and I just love it - I've been known to visit on both saturday and sunday for my fix.

The latest objects to catch my eye are German pottery... I found several lovely pieces this weekend which I'll post later, but this is undoubtedly one of my favourites.
